Women’s heptathlon update

The women competing this year’s heptathlon started day number two with the long jump. Breanna Leslie from Azusa Pacific University maintained her lead from yesterday, jumping a distance of 5.44 meters. Leslie has a total of 3,921 points.

Briana Vander Woude of Dordt College is in second place with 3,865, and Megan VanWinkle of Azusa Pacific is in third with 3,621.

The women will finish out the heptathlon with the javelin and 800-meter run.
