Women’s heptathlon update

After the 100m and high jump, the first two events of the women’s heptathlon, Briana Vander Woude (jr) of Dordt College is in the lead with 1,755 points. Breanna Leslie (jr) of Azusa Pacific University is in second with 1,666 points. Leslie’s teammate Megan VanWinkle (so) is in third with 1,452 points.

The women will compete in the shot put and the 200m events later today and finish out the remaining three events of the heptathlon tomorrow morning.
